Pork Recipes Willow Hills Posted on August 4, 2011 by scottAugust 4, 2011 Breakfast Sausage Ingredients: 2 lbs fresh ground pork 2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tsp rubbed sage (you can substitute regular ground) 1/4 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp thyme 1/2 tsp ground red pepper (optional) 1/4 cup maple syrup or ice cold water Directions: Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Shape into patties and cook in skillet over low heat until well browned. Bon appetite! Sweet Italian Sausage Ingredients: 2 lbs fresh ground pork 1/3 Cup ice water 2 tsp salt 3/4 tsp sugar 3/4 tsp fennel seed 1/2 tsp pepper Directions: Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Chill until ready to use. Enjoy!
